PSL 2025 Points Table as Final Team Qualifies for Playoff

Lahore Qalandars booked their place in the PSL 2025 playoffs with a dominant 26-run win over Peshawar Zalmi in a rain-shortened, 13-over-a-side knockout clash in Rawalpindi, which also takes them to third in the points table.

Sent in to bat in tricky conditions, Lahore rode on a scintillating 60 from Fakhar Zaman and a late burst from Asif Ali to post 149/8, a total that proved well beyond Zalmi’s reach. Salman Mirza was the hero with the ball, returning figures of 3-0-31-4, including the crucial scalps of Saim Ayub, Mohammad Haris, and Max Bryant in a high-pressure spell.

Zalmi’s chase never really got going from the start. Babar Azam looked fluent in patches, but once he fell to Sikandar Raza, the innings unraveled. Daniel Sams (26* off 14) and Ahmed Daniyal (24 off 14) showed late resistance, but the damage had been done early.
