Tram Service Launched for Visitors to Lahore’s Busiest Cattle Market

Development works at the Shahpur Kanjran Cattle Market are underway at a rapid pace, with a focus on upgrading facilities to modern standards. As part of these efforts, a free tram service has been introduced to provide easier access for citizens visiting the market.

The newly launched tram operates from Multan Road and transports buyers directly to the animal sheds inside the market. The service is aimed at easing the commute for visitors and improving their overall experience.

Speaking on the development, a spokesperson for the Punjab Cattle Market Management and Development Company (PCMMDC) said the tram service was launched to facilitate the public and enhance their experience during their visit to the market.

He further added that the company remains committed to providing modern services and ensuring a comfortable environment for all visitors.
