Toyota is expected to introduce the 2025 Prius to the Pakistani market soon, standing out for drivers focused on economy and sustainability, particularly in urban and inter-city commuting.
Although Toyota Pakistan has not officially published retail prices, industry sources indicate the following ex-factory price ranges. Note that these rates will most likely vary slightly thanks to retailer margins and taxes.
At the heart of the Prius is its hybrid system, combining a 1.8 L petrol engine (72 kW) with a 53 kW electric motor, managed via a CVT transmission. A more powerful 2.0 L petrol hybrid variant is also available.
The Prius delivers an impressive fuel economy of 24–31 km/L, a crucial feature for cost-conscious commuters. The lower end brings performance-oriented driving, while 31 km/L represents economical cruising.
With its exceptional mileage, the Prius eclipses rivals like the Corolla Grande Hybrid, Honda Accord Hybrid, Haval H6 Hybrid, and Hyundai Ioniq currently in the Pakistani market. Even the Prius PHEV variant achieves 36–40 km/L in hybrid mode.
