Huge Amount of Dead Meat Seized on Motorway

The Motorway Police have stopped a vehicle carrying 180 kilograms of spoiled and unhealthy meat. A spokesperson for the Motorway Police stated that two suspects transporting the dead meat had been arrested. The meat was intended for delivery to various hotels in Lahore.

The police have handed over the seized meat to the Punjab Food Authority (PFA) for further action.

This isn’t the first time authorities have seized spoiled meat being transported across the motorway. Recently, during a routine patrol near Rawalpindi, the Motorway Police intercepted two suspicious vans and recovered 2,000 kilograms of unhygienic meat in a swift operation.

According to the Motorway Police spokesperson, the vehicles were stopped for inspection after officers noticed irregularities in their movement. Upon checking, a large quantity of meat was discovered, which was later confirmed by the PFA to be unfit for human consumption and potentially dangerous to public health.
