Pakistan Champions’ fixture list for the second edition of the World Championship of Legends has been locked in, with a grudge match against arch-rivals India also on the cards. The tournament, which brings together retired greats and non-contracted stars, will unfold across England from July 18 to August 2.
Six teams—namely India, Pakistan, England, Australia, South Africa, and the West Indies—are set to compete for the T20 title in a festival of legends cricket. The Pakistani side, runners-up in the inaugural edition last year, will once again try to go all the way after narrowly missing out on the trophy to India in 2024.
The Pakistan Champions face a demanding set of matches in the group stage, starting with back-to-back games at Edgbaston. Their opening encounter is against hosts England on July 18. Two days later, on July 20, they meet their old rivals India in what promises to be the marquee clash of the tournament.
Pakistan’s World Championship of Legends Schedule:
| Match | Venue | Date | Day | Time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| England Champions vs Pakistan Champions | Edgbaston, Birmingham | July 18, 2025 | Friday | 16:30 |
| India Champions vs Pakistan Champions | Edgbaston, Birmingham | July 20, 2025 | Sunday | 16:30 |
| Pakistan Champions vs South Africa Champions | Grace Road, Leicestershire | July 25, 2025 | Friday | 16:30 |
| Pakistan Champions vs West Indies Champions | Headingley, Leeds | July 26, 2025 | Saturday | 16:30 |
| Australia Champions vs Pakistan Champions | Grace Road, Leicestershire | July 29, 2025 | Tuesday | 16:30 |
The knockout phase will see the top four teams progress to the semi-finals in Birmingham on July 31, followed by the final at Edgbaston on August 2.
With some of its greatest and mightiest cricketers returning for this year’s competition, Pakistan will be hoping to improve on last year’s runners-up finish. The spotlight, however, will firmly be on the July 20 showdown against India—arguably the most eagerly awaited contest in legends cricket.
The WCL promises fans a unique stretch of T20 action, blending iconic names and old rivalries in venues across England. For the Pakistan Champions, the mission is clear: go one step further than last year and bring the title home.
