The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced a major digital upgrade to its Pak ID mobile application, introducing a new feature that will soon allow citizens to book appointments at NADRA Registration Centers (NRCs) directly through the app.
This highly anticipated feature, currently in its initial phase, will soon be available at 43 designated NRCs across the country, enhancing convenience and reducing wait times for applicants. The announcement was made through NADRA’s official communication platforms, signaling a significant step toward improving citizen services under the government’s digital transformation agenda.
The Pak ID app, already in use for online CNIC applications and biometric login, will now serve as a complete digital gateway by enabling citizens to reserve time slots at various mega and regional centers. This innovation is expected to reduce overcrowding and improve efficiency at service points.
Among the cities covered in Phase, I are Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Quetta, Multan, Faisalabad, Hyderabad, Gujrat, Bahawalpur, and Gilgit, as well as remote regions like Skardu, Gawadar, and Diamir.
