Elon Musk’s AI company, xAI, has released a new image and video generator for Grok that can generate short AI videos with sound directly in the app. The feature, called Imagine, allows users to create images and videos from text prompts and turn static images into short clips.
It is also capable of making NSFW content using a new “spicy mode”.
Currently, access is limited to employees and selected influencers. Grok’s official account posted that video generation is “coming soon” and will require users to download the Grok app, subscribe to SuperGrok for $30 per month, and join the October waitlist.
Inspired by Vine
Musk teased that Imagine could revive Vine in AI form, referencing the six-second videos that defined the platform before its 2017 shutdown. Early testers have shared AI-generated clips, including a cat walking through space and an astronaut exploring an alien landscape.
Musk himself shared a video made by Grok using spicy mode.

Spicy Mode
“Spicy mode” allows sexually suggestive content, including partial nudity and full on nudity. Early users and xAI employees have posted videos demonstrating what its capable of, raising concerns about explicit deepfakes.
The Take It Down Act, signed into law by President Donald Trump in May, makes the distribution of nonconsensual explicit content, including AI-generated media, illegal. Some users have already expressed concern about how Grok’s new tools might be misused.
Previous Controversies
Grok has faced backlash in recent weeks over vulgar AI companions and antisemitic posts generated by the chatbot. The official account said it is removing inappropriate content.
Musk said Grok Imagine is still in early beta, emphasizing that it is optimized for fast, fun, shareable videos rather than perfect realism. He added that xAI is expanding its supercomputer Colossus in Memphis with 110,000 GPUs to support more advanced video generation in the future.

Why you have to show all explicit content shared by others in the name of news and getting more user views?
I am reporting to PTA if not censored.
