PIA Introduces Online Check-In for More Domestic Airports

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has expanded its online check-in service to include passengers flying from Multan, Faisalabad, Peshawar, Quetta, and Skardu.

The new feature allows travelers on domestic routes to skip long queues by checking in through PIA’s official mobile app or website. The national flag carrier says the move is aimed at making the travel experience faster, easier, and more convenient.

PIA has encouraged travelers to use the service for a quicker airport experience. For assistance or more information, customers can visit www.piac.com.pk or call the helpline at 021-111-786-786.

Meanwhile, Pakistan International Airlines Corporation Limited (PIAHCL) has issued a clarification regarding recent reports about UK flight operations.

The airline explained that the regulatory clearance granted by the UK Civil Aviation Authority (UK CAA) applies generally to the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA), not to any specific airline. This clearance confirms that Pakistani carriers meet international aviation safety standards.

However, all Pakistani airlines, including PIA, must still apply for individual operating licenses and route-specific approvals before they can resume flights to the UK. The company clarified that references to PIA in media reports were symbolic and did not indicate an immediate return to UK operations.
