Schools in Mansehra Closed for Two Days Amid Heavy Monsoon Rains

The Deputy Commissioner of Mansehra has announced the closure of all public and private educational institutions across the district for two days in response to the ongoing torrential monsoon rains. The decision, effective from August 18 to August 19, 2025, applies to both male and female schools.

The heavy rainfall has caused significant property damage and posed serious risks to human lives, with school-going children particularly vulnerable in the current conditions. The decision was made in consultation with higher authorities to ensure the safety of students and staff.
