Punjab Home Department Opens Online Registration for Civil Defense Volunteers

The Punjab Home Department has introduced an online portal to register Civil Defense volunteers, allowing citizens across the province to formally sign up and provide services in their respective districts.

Through the Civil Defense online platform, volunteers can register and assist in ongoing relief efforts, particularly for flood-affected families. Citizens interested in joining can send their name and district — where they wish to serve — to WhatsApp number 0334-9990978 for registration.

According to the Home Secretary, under the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, extensive relief and rehabilitation operations are being carried out for flood victims. Civil Defense Punjab teams are currently active in the field around the clock to support those affected.

He added that the people of Pakistan have always stood together in challenging times, showing resilience and unity in the face of natural disasters.
