The intense downpour led to water accumulation in several areas, but WASA quickly launched special measures to ensure timely drainage. Cheema said that all dewatering sets and sucker machines were fully functional, with officers and field staff actively supervising operations on the ground.

He confirmed that rainwater has been cleared from central intersections and main roads, restoring traffic flow.

Cheema added that WASA teams are committed to providing fast and efficient services to ease difficulties for citizens. He further noted that complaints from residents are being addressed immediately, while both the helpline and field units remain on high alert to respond to emergencies.
