Pakistan’s famous Himalayan Pink Salt has once again made global headlines after being featured in a Brazilian soap that won the Global Innovation Award at the Women in Agritech – Global Summit of Women in Agribusiness and Biotechnology held in Belgium from September 24 to 27.
The award-winning soap, produced under the Savana Amazônica brand in Boa Vista, Roraima, blends Amazonian biodiversity with Himalayan Pink Salt from Pakistan. Judges praised the product for its sustainable methods and innovative use of natural resources, earning global attention from investors, experts, and industry leaders.
Federal Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan hailed the achievement, describing Himalayan salt as a “natural treasure” that reflects both Pakistan’s cultural heritage and its economic strength.
Jam Kamal further stressed that collaborations like this show how natural resources from different regions can be combined to produce world-class products. He said the award aligns with Pakistan’s long-term strategy of promoting its natural resources in global high-value industries.
With its increasing use in skincare, food, and wellness products, Himalayan Pink Salt continues to attract strong international demand. Experts believe this latest recognition reinforces Pakistan’s role as a key global supplier of mineral-rich natural products.
