The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced that individuals holding any visa are now permitted to perform Umrah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
According to a report by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), this initiative is part of the government’s continued efforts to simplify procedures for Umrah pilgrims and enhance access to services under the Hajj and Umrah system, aligning with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
The ministry confirmed that this decision applies to holders of various visas, including personal visit visas, family visit visas, e-tourist visas, transit visas, and work visas, among others.
“This initiative reflects the Kingdom’s dedication to enabling Muslims from around the world to perform their religious rituals with greater ease and peace of mind,” the ministry stated.
The ministry also drew attention to the Nusuk Umrah platform, a digital service that allows users to plan and complete their Umrah journey electronically. Through the platform, pilgrims can choose from available packages, obtain necessary permits, and book services and timings conveniently and efficiently.
“These streamlined measures demonstrate the commitment of the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince to provide pilgrims with a safe, spiritual, and well-organised environment,” the ministry added, noting that the goal is to deliver high-quality services that enhance and enrich the overall Umrah experience.
