HEC Announces Fully-Funded PhD Scholarships in US

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has announced fully funded PhD scholarships under the prestigious US-Pakistan Knowledge Corridor Project, offering exceptional opportunities for Pakistani scholars to pursue doctoral studies at Top 300 QS World-Ranked Universities in the United States.

The program aims to strengthen academic ties between Pakistan and the United States while developing Pakistan’s human resource capacity in advanced fields of study.

Under this initiative, scholars can apply in two categories:

• Top 50 Universities: Full coverage of tuition fees, a monthly stipend, and health insurance.
• Rank 51–300 Universities: Financial support of up to USD 12,000 per year for tuition, along with a stipend and health insurance.

These scholarships are part of HEC’s continued efforts to equip Pakistani students and professionals with global research exposure and advanced knowledge to contribute effectively to national development.

Application Deadlines:

• For Spring/Summer 2026 admissions: 15 November 2025
• For Fall 2026 admissions: 30 April 2026
