The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has invited all public sector universities and research & development (R&D) organisations to submit data of their laboratories and scientific instrumentation facilities for inclusion in the Access to Scientific Instrumentation Program (ASIP) 2025–26.
The ASIP initiative is designed to strengthen Pakistan’s research ecosystem by facilitating Ph.D. scholars and researchers with access to advanced scientific and analytical testing laboratories across the country under HEC-funded support.
Through this program, HEC aims to enhance collaboration, promote efficient utilization of high-end equipment, and ensure equitable access to research infrastructure for scholars working in diverse scientific disciplines.
Public sector universities and R&D institutions are encouraged to provide details of their scientific instrumentation, analytical, and testing facilities for inclusion in the ASIP portal.
Deadline for data submission: October 14, 2025
