Latest ICC World Test Championship Points Table After India Sweeps West Indies

India strengthened their position in the latest ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025–27 points table after a commanding victory against the West Indies in Delhi, sweeping the visitors in the two-match series.

Coming into the contest on the back of a dominant win in Ahmedabad, Shubman Gill’s team was made to work for the win by the struggling visitors before eventually getting home by 7 wickets.

Yashasvi Jaiswal once again proved why he is India’s most exciting young Test batter, scoring a fluent 175 in the first innings. Shubman Gill added an unbeaten 129 as India piled up 518 for 5 before declaring. In response, the West Indies were bundled out for 248 in their first innings, prompting India to enforce the follow-on.

Despite a spirited 115 from John Campbell and a gritty 103 by Shai Hope in the second innings, the visitors could only manage 390, with India chasing the modest target of 121 runs with ease. The result took India’s points percentage to 61.90, with four wins, two losses, and one draw from seven matches in the ongoing WTC cycle. West Indies, meanwhile, continue to struggle, having lost all five of their matches.
