A sessions court in Sukkur has given 11 life sentences to a father and son, each for murdering 11 members of their own family.
According to details, the Additional Sessions Judge announced the verdict in the five-year-old case, convicting Wahabullah Indhar and his son Kaleemullah Indhar of the brutal killings. Three other accused were acquitted due to a lack of evidence.
The tragic incident took place in Pano Aqil, where Wahabullah and his son killed 11 family members, including women and children, by slitting their throats.
The victims included Wahabullah’s wife, Ruqayya, his daughters, Iqra (18), Isra (8), Sariya (6), Hajani (5), his sons, Asad (4) and Ahsan (3), as well as his daughter-in-law, Naseema (19), granddaughter, Nazia (3), and his one-year-old grandson, Ali.
Following the gruesome murders, police arrested Wahabullah and his four sons. After the trial, the court found Wahabullah and Kaleemullah guilty, while acquitting the remaining three.
