Famous Model Fatally Stabbed 24 Times by Her Ex-Boyfriend

29-year-old Italian model and reality TV star Pamela Genini was brutally murdered in Milan after being stabbed 24 times by her former partner, 52-year-old Gianluca Soncin, in what authorities are calling a case of femicide.

According to reports, the brutal attack occurred late Tuesday night, October 14, on the terrace of Genini’s apartment in Gorla, Milan. Neighbors reported hearing the model’s screams and tried to intervene before calling the police, but by the time officers arrived, she had already succumbed to her injuries.

Investigators said that after dragging Genini onto the terrace, Soncin repeatedly stabbed her before attempting to take his own life by stabbing himself twice in the neck. He was found alive and is currently under police custody at Niguarda Hospital in Milan, where his condition is said to be stable.

Reports suggest that Genini had been trying to end her relationship with Soncin, who allegedly became increasingly obsessive and violent. Prosecutor Alessia Menegazzo confirmed that the model sustained stab wounds to her neck, back, chest, arms, and hands — injuries consistent with a struggle. Witness statements and other evidence indicate that Soncin had been stalking and threatening Genini in the weeks leading up to the murder.

At the time of the attack, Genini was reportedly on the phone with a former partner and called the police after realizing Soncin had broken into her apartment using a copied key. When police knocked on the door, she pretended it was a food delivery, but moments later officers broke in and discovered the crime scene.

Authorities have charged Soncin with aggravated homicide, and investigations are ongoing to determine the full sequence of events.

Pamela Genini was a well-known figure in Italy’s fashion and television industry. She appeared in several reality TV shows and fashion campaigns and was active in Milan’s modeling scene. Her death has reignited discussions about domestic violence and femicide in Italy, where such crimes remain a growing concern.
