The Punjab Education Department has issued revised academic guidelines for students enrolled in government colleges across the province.
According to an official notification, students who receive an “F” grade in two or more subjects will no longer be eligible for forwarding to the admission board. The department has introduced this measure to address academic underperformance and ensure a minimum level of subject competency.
The notification also outlines a penalty structure for absences. Students who miss any examination paper will be fined Rs. 200 per paper, while absences from monthly tests will result in a Rs. 100 fine per paper. In cases where a student fails to appear for an exam without submitting a valid medical certificate, the absence will be treated as a failure.
To enforce academic discipline, the department has made it mandatory for all students to appear in the monthly, December, and pre-board examinations. This policy will apply uniformly across all government colleges in the province.
If student is not performing well then this is not always student mistake you should also ensure that teachers are teaching well or not
And some teachers treat students like they’re stupids and demotivating students this is not right.And I request government to take action against education system because board syllabus is tough for students

Completely dumb decision. How will it improve the level of education? It will only gather money for the government and for the schools. The policy makers do not seem to know the ground realities, or they have chosen to ignore them.
Our school system is very bad , whereas world is having new and latest education methods and providing no homework to students, world is way ahead of us.
They do not conduct exams fir kids for first 4 or 5 standard’s.
We need to change alot. Our kids are not going to school due to inflation and people are usable to earn, above it government is introducing new punishment systems which will affect mentality of student and will increase pressure
Like this, kids will become habitual of pressure. This is a very good initiative. From school level, kids should be given pressure. Like I read in Danish School. They are conducting PECTA examinations for Grade 8 under Board. Which is good. Because if the kids ever have to face pressure they don’t sit to criticize the government and education system like you who were students of private schools and were “LADLA” of your teachers

Absolutely sh!t the board of education is. We should try to not even give a sh!t to such a curriculum. At least spreading awareness can really affect a lot. We lack revolutionary minds because of fears.
I will never fell ashamed to state the fact that the teaching method of ChatGPT is way way better and it is entirely ahead of this trash worth curriculum of national board/educational system. Why talking about illiterates amount the society (Usually below the poverty line) when those big sharks, pure illiterates exist grabbed their chairs tightly?
Don’t ever expect of learning anything from this education system. Let me tell you, home schooling is better than those factories. Talking about me, I have never been following/worshipping those result cards at all. And I proudly say that I belong to IT carrier meanwhile passionate in genetic science with wildlife zoology. Have a great GitHub portfolio ( not the trash certificate of govt universities).
Talking about IT, let the government stuck at input output devices while I as a 17th (age) already been conquering advance fields including but not limited to UEFI, DBA in ERP field and a Linux kernel partial dev and learning about genetic science in details.
Another way of extorting money from students what right do they have to not allow students to not reappear when they don’t even have teachers and if there are they don’t have qualifications to teach them

As I stated earlier, no one is going to be a critical minded person when coming from this shity national board system. F**k you Board of Curriculum!! If a student is failing means you have failed to educate the student properly. A human brain is thought. It cannot open the closed doors of interests IF no one was able to open. The current state education system enlightens and approves and respects the mass produced memorizing machines and yet fails to produce true intellectuals. These are just those GOD damn factories of cattle from which a human brain is converted into an animal brain. Would you expect a “quality ensured” curriculum from a board which is hiding the true history of the country? Absolutely poop 💩
You people are sensible enough to know that this decision is absurd. What requires your attention is: traditional paper checking that meaures the length not the answer, this education system. MAKE a decision that would comfort students from their stresses. Come-on! at least now make some decisions that are gonna alter something in +ive way cuz that’s what a decision does.
Its not study that haunts our children its your stupid capability to make obsolete decisions that benefit you not nation, not country just you.
