The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has confirmed that all arrangements for the MDCAT 2025 examination have been completed, ruling out any possibility of further delay.
In a statement issued on Thursday, the PMDC responded to recent student protests and arrests, clarifying that the examination schedule will proceed as planned.
The council stated that examination halls across all provinces have been booked, while provincial authorities have finalized preparations to ensure the test is conducted peacefully and smoothly.
The announcement added that the printing of question papers and the issuance of admit cards have already been completed. To accommodate students, the registration portal was opened twice, giving all candidates ample opportunity to register.
The PMDC noted that the test date was earlier extended to facilitate students affected by floods. However, the Islamabad High Court has now rejected any further requests for postponement.
According to the council, more than 140,000 candidates have registered for MDCAT 2025. The statement emphasized that students have been given sufficient time to prepare and that the exam will be held as scheduled.
Reaffirming its position, the PMDC made it clear that “no further delay in the MDCAT examination is possible,” urging candidates to focus on their final preparations.
