Toothbrush Removed From Man’s Stomach in Punjab City

A 55-year-old man from Rahim Yar Khan accidentally swallowed his toothbrush while brushing his teeth early in the morning.

According to hospital sources, the man was cleaning his tongue when he suddenly yawned and swallowed the toothbrush. It slipped through his esophagus and ended up in his stomach.

Family members rushed him to Shaikh Zayed Hospital, where doctors immediately performed an endoscopy. Fortunately, the medical team successfully removed the toothbrush without the need for surgery.

Doctors said the patient was lucky that the brush did not cause any internal injuries. He is now recovering and in stable condition.

Medical experts advise people to exercise caution while brushing, especially when cleaning the tongue. Sudden movements such as yawning or coughing can lead to accidental swallowing or injury.

This rare case has drawn attention on social media, where many users expressed shock and curiosity over how such an incident could occur.
