District administration teams in Lahore, led by Deputy Commissioner Syed Musa Raza, have stepped up operations against encroachments across the city. Teams from the Regulation Squad, Metropolitan Corporation, and district administration are actively working on various roads, markets, and commercial centers.
Over the past two days, authorities have removed 791 illegal encroachments and seized the associated goods. In the same 48-hour period, the Regulation Squad also took down 2,021 banners and flexes from public spaces.
Officials have identified key encroachment hotspots throughout Lahore and have intensified operations in these areas. Deputy Commissioner Syed Musa Raza has instructed assistant commissioners to accelerate action against these hotspots, emphasizing the need for immediate results.
The district administration is enforcing a strict zero-tolerance policy, with the Deputy Commissioner making it clear that no one will be allowed to occupy government or public land. The campaign aims for the complete elimination of encroachments in the city.
