Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat announced a package of exam reforms aimed at improving transparency and reducing malpractice across the province. In a statement, he said that authorities controlled cheating in the first year and will now move to strengthen the assessment system.
The minister said education officials will replace practical exams with multiple-choice questions (MCQs) this year. He added the government will seek a constitutional amendment to allow rechecking of papers and will set a higher fee for rechecks because of the large number of candidates.
Rana Sikandar said the exam paper pattern will shift to concept-based learning. He announced that the daily allowance for invigilators will increase to Rs. 5,000 and that only staff who complete required training will be permitted to invigilate exams.
The minister said the government will allow university teaching assistants to help and will seek support from both government and private sectors to implement reforms.

Please control the cheating of students through relatives examiner. Change the Procedure of paper checking and depute qualified teacher and cross checking through final committee.
