The Metro Bus Service in Rawalpindi will remain suspended during the movement of teams participating in the Pakistan–Sri Lanka–Zimbabwe T20 Tri-Nation Series, officials confirmed.
According to Metro Bus authorities, the service will be temporarily halted to ensure security and smooth transportation during the series. The decision has been taken on the instructions of the district administration.
During match hours, the Rehmanabad, Khatm-e-Nabuwwat, and Faizabad stations will remain closed, while the service will continue to operate as usual at other stations.
Metro officials stated that the temporary closures are part of security arrangements to facilitate team movements and manage the expected traffic load around the cricket venues.
The Pakistan–Sri Lanka–Zimbabwe T20 Tri-Nation Series will be played in Rawalpindi and Lahore from November 17 to 29. The event is expected to draw large crowds, with fans eager to see the three teams in action ahead of the international T20 season.

This cricket has spoiled this country for nothing
Not fit for purpose. The whole system was a failure from the start. However be thankful the buses are not being pulled by Horses or Buffalo at this moment in time.
Pindi is already a mess because you people closed off a MAJOR route, now this. Please. We don’t care about cricket. Let us go about our daily lives.
