OnePlus is preparing to launch the world’s first smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, officially named the OnePlus Ace 6T. Earlier speculation pointed to names like OnePlus Turbo and OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max, but OnePlus’ official fan club has clarified that the new model will be known as the Ace 6T.
Reports suggest that OnePlus will introduce a Genshin Impact Edition of the Ace 6T, continuing its tradition of unique collaborations. The upcoming device will draw inspiration from the classic OnePlus 6T, known for its high refresh rate display, smooth performance, fast fingerprint unlocking, and the signature Electric Purple color. Many of these features are expected to return with the new Ace 6T.
The OnePlus Ace 6T will be available with 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM, and storage options of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB using UFS 4.1 technology. Color choices will include Electric Purple, Flash Black, and Shadow Green.
According to leaks, the phone will feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. Power will be provided by an 8,000mAh battery supporting 100W fast charging. The device will ship with ColorOS 16, based on Android 16.
For photography, the OnePlus Ace 6T is expected to offer a 32-megapixel front camera and a dual rear camera system with 50-megapixel and 8-megapixel sensors. Additional features include a metal middle frame, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, an X-axis linear motor, dual speakers, and NFC support.
The OnePlus Ace 6T is set to launch soon in China, with further details and pricing expected to be announced at the official event.
