Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi has announced free higher education for orphan students who pass the MDCAT exam, along with a new internship program for Bachelor’s and Master’s degree holders across the province.
Speaking at a ceremony held at Frontier Women College, the Chief Minister unveiled a series of key initiatives to promote education and support talented students, particularly women and orphans.
Under the newly launched Insaf Female Education Card, around 55,000 female students will receive free higher education, enabling more young women to continue their academic journeys without financial constraints.
CM Sohail Afridi emphasized that education is the foundation of development, and his government remains committed to providing equal opportunities for all students.
He directed the concerned departments to launch an internship program aimed at helping graduates gain practical experience and bridge the gap between academia and the professional world.
