    • Fazool tareen planing Hai..
      1) Toyota will only do Toyota cars with their own intrest, same would be the case with suzuki
      2) Working hours =6( 360 mins)
      If 1 car take 3mins then 120 cars in 1 booth and 17 x 120 = 2040 cars per day
And 2040 x 300 days = 612000 cars per year and more than 2 crore cars are on the road..
      3) Validity of each check I think 6 months Hai ya 1 year be ho to useless
Bahut saro ka to number he ni ana…
Just to make money and nothing else ya Phir Rishwat for police

  • More than emission testing, which does not even take place, the computer is checked to ascertain if there are no unpaid e- challans, if so, the car driver is sent back to pay the challan first and then return for the emission testing. Testing timings are 10 am to 5 pm with 1 hour lunch break. Cars are lining up from 6 am, the staff arrive at 10.15 am. 4 cars at a time are allowed to cross the barrier. By now more than 80 cars are lined up. Due to some excise issues, cars are being returned to have it rectified. So, to me this is just an undue a form of harrassment of the law abiding citizens who are trying to do the right thing, for a better and cleaner environment. Needs to be looked into.

  • Too much time consuming. In 6 hours your turns come . Then the inspector takes the picture of your car and other cars. Goes back to his chair, feeds the detail of all cars that he took pictures. Then he generate PSID . You pay the receipt you received. But he does not. And then you wait and then the time is up. Till he the inspector receives the receipt nothing can be done. Please see to it and try to improve the system .

  • Why is the validity till this year end only?
Do we pay now for only 1.5 month validity?
At least give the validity till 2026 December for cars that are testing right now.

    Our money is precious.

  • There are 7.5 million vehicles in Lahore. Imagine how much time it will take for all the vehicles to go through this process. Moreover its going to be regular affair, all the vehicles are required to be tested again, after regular intervals of six months/a year or so. It is suggested that it should be made mandatory for all petrol pumps to install this facility.

  • cars like new models 2020 onward until 2022 why we need to inspect these new model cars this is useless new cars mostly hybrid. and no smoke at all in these cars.

  • More than 15 million population city
    Having million of cars

    Testing centre/booths below 100
    With very limited time

    Even no services on Sunday

  • I have been going to CBD Kalma Chowk for at least 4 times and had to return due to long lines. Extend the deadlines as someone who is working has a very limited window to get the vehicle checked. Also they must realize the cars which were old came without catalytic converters as government allowed imports of cars, and these cars contribute to higher pollution due to inherent problems.

  • The number of Emission Testing Centres are too less considering the number of vehicles in the city . One has to wait for 6-7 hours and most stations are closed . Please dont take Bad Dua from public with such stupid policies
