Another Rs. 3.45 Billion Flyover Announced for Rawalpindi

Work on Rawalpindi’s Rs. 35.28 billion infrastructure overhaul has accelerated, with major flyovers and underpasses moving toward completion under Punjab government funding.

The project spans both city and cantonment areas and includes four flyovers and eight underpasses. Officials have now approved an additional flyover at Ammar Shaheed Chowk, following a surge in traffic at the interchange.

The new structure is estimated to cost Rs. 3.45 billion, and construction will begin next year once the case receives final clearance.
