Appointment Letters for 12,500 School Teacher Interns Put on Hold Again

Appointment letters for 12,500 School Teacher Interns (STIs) have been put on hold once again.

The School Education Department has allowed candidates to submit objections against the final merit list.

According to the department, candidates can file their objections until December 22, which must be submitted at the offices of the Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of the respective districts.

Earlier, the STI contracts were scheduled to begin on December 1, but due to the receipt of objections, there is now a risk of further delay in the issuance of appointment orders.

The School Education Department has directed that all objections be resolved by December 22, after which the issuance of STI appointment orders is expected.
