Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has announced winter vacations for colleges across the province, extending relief to students and staff amid the ongoing winter season.
The minister confirmed that colleges will observe winter break from January 23 to January 10. He shared the announcement through his official social media accounts.
Earlier, Rana Sikandar Hayat had also announced winter vacations for schools in the province. According to that notification, schools began their winter break on December 22, which will continue until January 10.
The education department said the decision aligns with seasonal conditions and aims to ensure the health and safety of students and teaching staff. Authorities have advised students and parents to stay updated through official channels for any further instructions related to academic schedules.
