Sindh Announces Another Holiday After 25 and 26 December

The Sindh government has announced another public holiday later this month, extending the sequence of holidays following December 25 and 26.

According to a notification issued by the Services, General Administration and Coordination Department, the provincial government has declared Saturday, December 27, 2025, a public holiday across Sindh.

The holiday will be observed in connection with the death anniversary of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. All government offices, autonomous and semi-autonomous bodies, corporations, and local councils under the administrative control of the Sindh government will remain closed, except for essential services.

The latest notification adds to an already extended holiday period in the province. December 25 has been declared a public holiday to mark the birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, while December 26 has been declared a holiday for the Christian community on account of Christmas.

With December 28 falling on a Sunday, Sindh will observe four consecutive days of holidays from December 25 to December 28.
The notification was issued from Karachi and signed by the Chief Secretary Sindh.
