Karachi University will hold the PhD entrance test on December 28 (Sunday), the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS) announced, according to 24NewsHD.
The test will take place from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at the LEJ Information Center. Candidates who pass both the test and the subsequent interview will be admitted to the Dr. Panjwani Center and HEJ Institute.
This marks the second admission phase for the university’s 2025 PhD program. Dozens of candidates are expected to appear.
Students are advised to arrive by 9:30 am and bring their admit card and original CNIC. Entry of unrelated persons will be strictly prohibited.
Results of the test will be published on the ICCBS and Karachi University websites on January 5, 2026. Shortlisted candidates will then participate in interviews from January 6 to 9, 2026. The final merit list will be displayed on January 16, 2026.
Admissions will be granted strictly on merit in accordance with Karachi University’s higher education policy.
