Amazfit Active Max Can Last Nearly a Month and Can Survive Underwater

Amazfit has introduced its latest smartwatch, the Amazfit Active Max, expanding its wearable lineup with a focus on display brightness, fitness tracking, and extended battery life.

Display and Design

The Amazfit Active Max features a 1.5-inch circular AMOLED display capable of reaching up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness. The screen supports automatic brightness adjustment to improve visibility in bright outdoor conditions and during workouts.

The smartwatch weighs 39.5 grams without the strap and uses a combination of aluminum and polymer for its body. It carries a 5 ATM water resistance rating, allowing it to withstand water pressure equivalent to depths of up to 50 meters for short durations.

Battery Life and Core Features

Battery life is one of the Active Max’s key highlights. Amazfit claims the watch can deliver up to 25 days of typical usage on a single charge. With continuous GPS tracking enabled, battery life is rated at around 64 hours.

The watch includes a built-in microphone and speaker, enabling Bluetooth calling when paired with a smartphone. It also comes with 4GB of internal storage, allowing users to store music and podcasts directly on the device.

Fitness Tracking and Software Support

The Amazfit Active Max supports more than 160 sports modes, covering activities such as running, gym workouts, and other training types. It includes features like automatic workout pausing and basic route creation for running sessions.

Navigation tools include access to topographic maps and ski maps. The smartwatch integrates with third-party fitness platforms such as Strava and Adidas Running, and it works with Amazfit’s Zepp app for device management and activity tracking.

Pricing and Availability

The Amazfit Active Max is currently available for purchase in Europe and includes contactless payment support. The smartwatch is priced at $199.
