In a significant decision benefiting students across Lahore and Punjab, the Inter Board Coordination Commission (IBCC) has announced a special fee relief for matriculation and intermediate students.
Under the new policy, all educational boards will verify the result card and certificate with a single fee. The IBCC has formally informed all educational boards about the decision.
Previously, under the old system, certificate holders were required to pay separate fees for the verification of the result card and the certificate. However, under the revised mechanism, both documents will now be verified together for one fee.
The decision will apply not only to all educational boards in Punjab but also to all boards across Pakistan.
Officials said that millions of candidates annually are expected to benefit from this move, which aims to reduce financial burden and streamline the verification process.
