Four Pakistani Kabaddi Players Banned for Four Years

Four Pakistani kabaddi players have been banned for four years after refusing to undergo doping tests during the National Championship held in Lahore.

According to officials, the players declined to provide samples for doping control, which is treated as a positive violation under anti-doping regulations.

Following this refusal, the Anti-Doping Organization of Pakistan (ADOP) issued a notification imposing a four-year ban on all four athletes in accordance with the rules.

The banned players have been identified as Ubaidullah Rajput, Malik Bin Yameen, Rana Haider, and Kashif Sandhu. The ban on the players will be implemented from October 21, 2025.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Kabaddi Federation has called a meeting of its disciplinary committee on January 12 in Lahore. The committee will be headed by Rana Amjad Iqbal, while its members include Akhtar Abbas, Colonel Nabil, Sohail Ahmed, and Rana Sarwar.

The four players have been summoned to appear before the committee, where they will be given an opportunity to present their stance on the matter. Failure to appear will result in the ban being enforced without further proceedings.

Last year, a Pakistani kadabbi player found himself in trouble after he was spotted wearing an Indian jersey.
