New Zealand has named a highly experienced 15-member squad for the ICC T20 World Cup 2026, with in-form pacer Jacob Duffy earning a place on the back of a record-breaking year.
Here is the Blackcaps 15-man squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup in Sri Lanka and India.

31-year-old Jacob Duffy has been included in a T20 World Cup squad for the first time after a superb 2025, in which he took 81 international wickets, surpassing Sir Richard Hadlee’s long-standing mark of 79 in a calendar year.
Duffy also climbed to No. 2 in the ICC T20 bowling rankings and now joins a seasoned pace unit featuring Matt Henry, Lockie Ferguson, Adam Milne, and all-rounder Jimmy Neesham. Kyle Jamieson has been named as the traveling reserve fast bowler.
Several key players, including Allen (finger/hamstring), Chapman (ankle), Ferguson (calf), Henry (calf), and Santner (adductor), are currently under treatment but are expected to be fit in time. Ferguson and Henry may briefly leave the squad during the event for paternity leave, with their partners due to give birth during the tournament window.
The tournament will be played in India and Sri Lanka from February 7 to March 8, with New Zealand placed in Group D alongside Afghanistan, UAE, South Africa, and Canada.
