Honor reported record smartphone shipments in 2025, delivering 71 million units worldwide. Of that total, 10 million devices were flagship models, highlighting growing demand at the higher end of the market.
A key takeaway from the results is Honor’s expanding presence outside China. The company said overseas markets accounted for 50% of its total smartphone sales during the year. The Magic7 series played a central role in driving shipments and international momentum.
Honor carried forward its momentum from 2024, posting 50% year over year growth in smartphone shipments. The company confirmed it now holds a market share of at least 10% in 17 countries, spanning regions such as Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa.
The brand also strengthened its position in Southeast Asia. In Malaysia, Honor has become the market leader, with more than 18% share of the smartphone market and 30% share in tablets.
Looking ahead, Honor is placing a major focus on artificial intelligence through its Honor Alpha strategy. The company plans to invest more than $10 billion in AI-related products over the next five years.
The investment will center on smartphones while also extending to AI-powered PCs, tablets, and wearable devices. Honor said the strategy is designed to build a broader ecosystem of connected hardware with AI capabilities at the core.
