Gold prices in Pakistan extended their rally on Wednesday, reaching a fresh all-time high in the domestic market.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola surged by Rs. 4,300 to reach Rs. 486,162.
Likewise, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs. 3,687, with the precious metal being sold at Rs. 416,805.
A day earlier, on Tuesday, the gold price per tola had closed at Rs. 481,862 after an increase of Rs. 900 during the trading session.
In the international market, the price of gold climbed by $43 to reach $4,638 per ounce, including a premium of $20.
Meanwhile, silver prices also registered an increase, rising by Rs. 500 to reach Rs. 9,575 per tola.
