Punjab Launches Pink and Blue Mobile Units in 27 Districts

Punjab has activated Pink and Blue Mobile Licensing Units in 27 districts, offering citizens the convenience of obtaining driving licenses at their doorstep.

According to a spokesperson, over 140,000 citizens have benefited from the on-door mobile licensing service in the past two months.

Of these, 51,000 received learner licenses, 70,000 obtained fresh regular driving licenses, and 25,000 renewed their existing permits.

The spokesperson said these initiatives reflect the Punjab Chief Minister’s vision of providing public services efficiently while empowering women.

Special Pink Mobile Units for women are operational in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Sialkot, and Multan. So far, 24,000 women have availed themselves of licensing services through these units, including 7,000 learner’s licenses and 6,000 regular driving licenses.

These mobile units are seen as a practical step toward public convenience and women’s empowerment, bringing essential services closer to citizens.
