Pakistan’s Ali Sisters star Mahnoor Ali won the gold medal in the U15 category at the WSF Czech Junior Open 2026 after defeating Czech player Johana Jedličková in a thrilling 3–2 final.
This victory marked Mahnoor’s 26th career gold medal, further strengthening her position as one of Pakistan’s most successful junior squash players.
Earlier, Mahnoor secured her place in the final with a dominant 3–0 semifinal win over Tarasova, winning 11–5, 11–6, 11–7.
Another Ali sister, Sehrish Ali, also delivered an impressive performance at the tournament. She defeated Victoria Syvoplyas 3–0 to secure the bronze medal in the same U15 category.
Meanwhile, the third Ali sister, Mehwish Ali, is now out of danger after suffering a serious health scare during the Girls U17 semifinal.
Mehwish was leading 2–1 in games when, during the fourth game, she collided with her opponent and fell in pain, forcing an immediate halt to the match.
She was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for close medical monitoring. According to the latest reports, Mehwish has since regained consciousness and is now in stable condition.
It was later revealed that her heart came under stress due to a lack of oxygen supply, which left her unconscious for nearly seven hours.
