GWM Pakistan has announced the prices of its locally assembled CKD models of the TANK-500 Hi4-T 4X4 2.0L Turbo Automatic on its official social media pages.
The Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) variant is priced at Rs. 20,500,000, while the Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) variant carries a price of Rs. 22,500,000.
Bookings for both variants will open on January 26. The vehicles will arrive as Completely Knocked Down units and will be assembled locally.
Earlier, Sazgar Engineering Works Limited had informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange that bookings for the TANK-500 Hi4-T models would open on January 26 and that the vehicles would be available in both PHEV and HEV configurations.
At the time, the company had not disclosed prices or variant-specific details. Delivery timelines and full specifications for each variant have not yet been provided.

Better buy 10 yrs old / used japanese vehicle (car, SUV, 4×4), rather than wasting money on Chinese underpowered (turbo charged), overly complex HEV / PHEV. Unproven tech, poor quality, no after sales / spares, zero resale… showpiece cum disposable toy for grownups !

There are so many options offered ,out of which we will not use more than 20%,hence paying for all
They are such complexed cars that mostly repairs not possible and have to make costly replacement of parts
They are rich people toys with shorter life

China has substantially improved its quality and are exporting vehicles worldwide. It’s a giant that challenges the monopoly of US, European and Japanese monopoly. BYD is No. 1 Brand globally. The value to money ratio is excellent. I love Chinese brands especially GWM, BYD and Haval and MG.
