Sony has introduced its latest wireless earbuds, the Sony LinkBuds Clip, featuring a clip-on design that allows users to listen to audio while remaining aware of their surroundings.
Sony stated that the clip-style form factor is designed to provide a comfortable and stable fit for various ear types. The earbuds include removable Fitting Cushions and are intended for extended, all-day comfortable use. Color options include black, greige, green, and lavender.
The LinkBuds Clip offers three listening modes: Standard, Voice Boost, and Sound Leakage Reduction. Through the companion app, users can access a ten-band equalizer to fine-tune audio output.
For calls, Sony said the earbuds deliver clear voice quality using a bone conduction sensor to capture speech, combined with an AI-based noise reduction system to minimize background sounds.
The earbuds provide up to nine hours of playback on a single charge, with total battery life reaching up to 37 hours when used with the charging case. A quick-charge feature delivers up to one hour of playback from a three-minute charge.
The LinkBuds Clip carry an IPX4 rating for splash resistance and support Multipoint connectivity, allowing users to connect to multiple devices simultaneously.
The Sony LinkBuds Clip is now available in the US for $229.99. Sony also sells clip case covers and replacement Fitting Cushions separately for $24.99 through its official store.
