The Samsung Galaxy A57 surfaced on China’s TENAA certification database nearly a week ago, revealing its full specifications. As is common with early TENAA listings, the initial entry did not include design images.
That has now changed. The listing has been updated with official images, offering the first clear look at the Galaxy A57’s design.
Familiar design with subtle refinements
At first glance, the Galaxy A57 closely follows the design language of its predecessor. It retains a flat front and flat back, along with Samsung’s raised “key island” on the right side that houses the power and volume buttons.
The most visible design update appears on the rear. Samsung has revised the camera module with a new two-tier layout. A thicker outer frame, finished in the same color as the phone’s body, now surrounds a black inner pill that contains the camera lenses.
The Galaxy A57 is also expected to be slimmer than the previous generation. The TENAA listing indicates a thickness of 6.9mm, down from 7.4mm on its predecessor.
Display, chipset, and performance
According to the TENAA data, the Galaxy A57 features a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution. The device is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at up to 2.9GHz, which Geekbench results suggest could be Samsung’s Exynos 1680 chipset.
Camera setup and battery
The rear camera system includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, supported by a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 5-megapixel macro lens. On the front, the phone carries a 12-megapixel selfie camera.
The Galaxy A57 packs a 5,000mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging.
Software, storage, and launch timeline
The device is listed in at least two storage configurations: 8GB RAM with 256GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. It will run Android 16 with One UI 8 on top.
Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy A57 by late February, ahead of the launch of the Galaxy S26 series.

the OEM should focus on quality and stability of product instead of introducing new model every other month with Changning looks but retaining same old hardware specs.
