The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 has officially launched its event anthem, adding a fresh wave of excitement ahead of the highly anticipated global tournament.
Titled “Feel The Thrill,” the anthem arrives ahead of the tournament’s start on February 7, 2026, with India and Sri Lanka set to co-host the event. The song draws directly from the tournament’s official theme, aiming to reflect the speed, intensity, and excitement that define T20 cricket.
Composed by Anirudh Ravichander, a well-known Indian music producer who rose to fame with “Why This Kolaveri Di”, the track blends energetic English hooks with vibrant Punjabi-inspired rhythms and grooves. The fusion captures the explosive pace of the format while highlighting the unifying passion of T20 cricket, combining global appeal with a distinctly desi edge.
The audio version of the anthem is now available across major platforms, including YouTube, allowing fans to listen ahead of the tournament. However, at the time of release, no official music video or lyric video was announced.
Fan reactions began emerging shortly after the song dropped earlier today, particularly from cricket followers and fans of Anirudh. Overall, the response has been energetic but mixed.
Many listeners praised the anthem’s high-tempo beats, calling it powerful and exciting, with several fans saying it builds strong hype for the upcoming tournament. Supporters highlighted the familiar Anirudh sound and described the track as motivating and adrenaline filled.
At the same time, some traditional cricket fans shared reservations, suggesting the song feels more like a party or club track rather than a timeless World Cup anthem.
With the countdown to the first match underway, “Feel The Thrill” is expected to remain a prominent part of the World Cup atmosphere, playing across stadiums and fan spaces throughout the tournament.
