Lahore Qalandars have retained explosive opener Fakhar Zaman for Rs. 7.95 crore during the 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL 11) player auction at Lahore’s Expo Center.
The left-hander remains one of Lahore’s most important batters, known for his aggressive approach at the top and ability to take games away from opponents during the powerplay.
His retention ensures continuity in Qalandars’ batting core as the franchise looks to maintain a settled combination under the league’s new auction model.
Fakhar’s experience in high-pressure T20 matches, coupled with his match-winning pedigree, makes him a cornerstone of Lahore’s plans heading into PSL 11.
The move further strengthens Lahore’s lineup after they secured fast bowler Haris Rauf for Rs. 7.60 crore following his standout Big Bash League campaign, where he finished among the tournament’s leading wicket-takers.
Other notable deals in the auction include Rawalpindi acquiring Naseem Shah for Rs. 8.65 crore, Sialkot Stallionz signing Sahibzada Farhan for Rs. 5.70 crore, and Karachi Kings adding Pakistan T20 captain Salman Ali Agha for Rs. 5.85 crore as franchises continue to finalize their squads.
