Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Wednesday, following a rally in the international market.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola reached Rs. 582,562, marking a gain of Rs. 2,300 during the day.
Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs. 453,156 after increasing by Rs. 1,972, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Tuesday, the price of gold per tola stood at Rs. 526,262, after gaining Rs. 1,500 during the day. Internationally, gold prices rose by $23 to reach $5,058 per ounce, with a premium of $20.
Meanwhile, silver prices also saw an uptick, rising by Rs. 120 to reach Rs. 8,735 per tola.
