Hyundai Nishat Motors has announced that the all-new Hyundai Palisade is coming to Pakistan, marking what the company describes as a major milestone for its local operations.
In a post shared on its official social media platforms, Hyundai Pakistan stated that Pakistan will become the first country after South Korea to locally produce the Palisade in Completely Knocked Down form. The company said bookings for the flagship SUV will open in March.
The Palisade is Hyundai’s large seven- to eight-seater SUV positioned in the premium segment. While the company has not yet disclosed pricing or variant details, it confirmed that the vehicle will be assembled locally rather than imported as a fully built unit.
In Pakistan’s auto market, manufacturers have often introduced older-generation models or significantly delayed global launches before bringing vehicles to local showrooms. Hyundai’s move to assemble a current-generation global model in CKD form signals a different approach compared to past industry practices.
According to reports, deliveries of the locally assembled Palisade are expected to begin in August this year.
Hyundai has not yet released detailed specifications for the Pakistani variant. Further information regarding engine options, features, and final pricing is likely to be shared closer to the start of bookings.
