The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and ICC Chairman Jay Shah are expected to watch the T20 World Cup 2026 match between Pakistan and India together in Colombo.
According to sources, Mohsin Naqvi will travel to Sri Lanka for the match against India. There is a strong possibility that Naqvi and ICC Chairman Jay Shah will sit together during the highly anticipated game.
Sources also said that ICC officials and representatives from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will be present at the match. Officials from both the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Indian board are expected to be in Colombo at the same venue.
In addition, Sri Lanka Cricket has invited officials from other cricket boards to attend the match. There is also a possibility that the head of the Bangladesh Cricket Board will be present during the game.
Pakistan and India are set to face each other in the T20 World Cup match tomorrow in Colombo. Both teams have won their first two matches of the tournament, setting up a highly anticipated contest.
The Pakistan vs India match is one of the most watched and commercially important fixtures in cricket, and carries extra attention this year due to heightened political tensions and a recent temporary boycott threat that was later averted following negotiations among cricket boards and governments.
Mohsin should be terminated immediately and competent person should be appointed or urgent basis.
