In a filing to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, OGDC said the well was drilled to a total depth of 2,100 meters in the C-Sands of the Lower Goru Formation and tested using the company’s in-house technical expertise.

During testing, the well delivered gas production of 9.70 million standard cubic feet per day along with 580 barrels per day of condensate at a choke size of 36/64 inches. The wellhead flowing pressure was recorded at 1,725 pounds per square inch from the Lower Goru C-Sand reservoir.

The company stated that the test results confirm the strong hydrocarbon prospectivity of the Lower Goru C-Sand reservoirs in the Dars West area. Pipeline installation is currently underway, and once completed, gas from the well will be routed to the KPD–TAY processing plant before being supplied into the Sui Southern Gas Company Limited transmission network.

The Dars West Development and Production Lease is operated by OGDC, which holds a 77.5 percent working interest, while Government Holdings Private Limited owns the remaining 22.5 percent stake.

OGDC said the development reflects its continued focus on reservoir evaluation, well testing, and field development activities aimed at boosting domestic oil and gas production. The disclosure was made in compliance with the Securities Act, 2015 and relevant Pakistan Stock Exchange regulations.
