Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Monday, as international rates maintained momentum which saw bullion rise even higher than $5,000 per ounce.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola rose to Rs. 536,562 after gaining Rs. 3,000 during the day.
Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs. 460,015, up Rs. 2,572, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Saturday, gold per tola had closed at Rs. 533,562 after gaining Rs. 7,100 during the day.
In the international market, gold prices increased by $30 to reach $5,138 per ounce, with a premium of $20.
Meanwhile, silver prices also rose even higher, rising by Rs. 146 to settle at Rs. 9,094 per tola.
